It came with JBL sound system which sounds decent (newer cars /tvs tend to have terrible speakers. It has Wifi I think it only works with LTE and I have NOT noticed 5g so for a new 2022 this feels dated already. The seats are comfortable for me but I am 5'4 and my significant other who is 5'9 but fitting a car seat in the back that is large greatly reduces the leg … room. My XLE has heated seats with switches in the dash to turn them on and off just below the navigation (works great so far). I have put 1600 miles on my New Toyota XLE Corolla Cross and paid 31k for it plus for the extended warranties. Very minimal steering feedback, and the CVT automatic does OK and doesn't make things unpredictable. Stability control is pretty transparent, and as we've seen from other Toyotas it might actually help the skidpad number (it does). Typical all-season tire grip, average amount of understeer, nothing out of the norm. Otherwise it's fine, nothing exceptionally bad or good to note. It squirms around a bit also when braking this hard, too. There's not a whole lot to mask the panic-braking experience sensations. ![]() There's a fair amount of nosedive and a lot of noise under full antilock braking. Powerbraking does shave off a few tenths of a second to 60 mph, but this is still a leisurely pace by most accounts. Typical CVT (continuously variable transmission) experience here, except that this one simulates shifts instead of hanging out painfully at redline. Not a ton of power, but the Corolla Cross probably has enough for your average Joe and Jill.
